when I think about it I get scared. Everybody does.
Anything can happen to any of us
We try to deny it persuading ourselves that nothing is going to happen to US... US, because we are the heros, the main characters who are supposed to survive even after the end of the world...
That's how we live trying not to fear, pretending it's somewhere else, somewhere far from us...
But it's not.

from Good Movies Collection
Yesterday I have watched Across The Universe and... I loved it! Though it is a musical it's not just amasing music and beautiful scenes. The movie has a message, it makes you think. The most important is that Julie Taymor, the director, managed to combine great music of the Beatles with the plot without leting us feel the priority of the music - we don't feel like the plot is made to the music (unlike in Mama Mia for instance). Everithing is very organic and logical. I also found some songs I never heard before, like I Am The Walrus. I felt lucky:-). It's like when you rewatch a really great movie and envy those who watch it for the first time.
Anyway, Across The Universe is a really good movie, go ahead take my advice watch it and enjoy.

I was rewatching Gone With The Wind mostly to see her - I think the best woman character ever - Scarlett O'Hara. I think Vivien Leigh made her complete - the idea got its form...
Scarlett is adorable. She is so beautiful and strong and again has no fear.
I just quote the right words of Ashley:

the person to follow
Last Saturday we had an exam. One of the task was to tell about the person inspiring you. I was thinking and realized that for me such a person is... my father.
Yes my father. And it doesn't matter that we have been talking once in a blue moon since my parents divorced when I was 12. He really does inspire me anyway.
Buddha said - "A true man hates no one." "The whole secret of existence is to have no fear. Never fear what will become of you, depend on no one. Only the moment you reject all help are you freed."
My father has no fear. He does what he does. He keeps telling me that he is like the frog in a heron's throat suffocating it to survive. That means he never gives up.
He was on his own since he was 16 working hard to become what he is now. Nobody tought him how to do things. He just did them . Because he had no fear. And I think that is great.

Life as a movie
I often think of my life as of a movie.
I am the main character, the directer and the spectator at the same time.
But actual movie is just a little episode of the whole story. I could make so many movies about my life so far and I only started it. I'm not even settled yet and I don't know when I will be.
Right now the movie is about a young girl living in Russia. She is finishing her university, planning to go to NY at the end of June. She keeps thinking about her man from NY who is 25 years older than her and who is also dreaming about her.
They are in love. They try not to think about future. But what is love and what is future anyway? Both are so vague.
